Tour two superb breweries and enjoy a pub lunch in Yorkshire

Brewery Experience Days: If you have a thirst for great beer or are looking for an unforgettable experience gift for a friend who does, then you can't beat this fantastic Cropton Brewery Tour and Pub Lunch in North Yorkshire!

Situated on the edge of the spectacular North Yorkshire Moor National Park is the famous Cropton Brewery, which has been producing great-tasting and award-winning Yorkshire ales since 1984. This is a fantastic opportunity to discover this brewery's secrets and learn how traditional ales are made, like the superb Monkman's Slaughter and Scoresby Stout. You will get to taste as you learn (of course!) and follow the brewing process as it occurs. As if that wasn't enough, you can also explore the The Great Yorkshire Brewery, another superb brewery that is run side by side Cropton. Producing a new and exciting range of beers, lagers and ciders, you will be spoilt for choice for which drink to go for next! Exploring a brewery can be hungry business so it's a good thing that the fun doesn't stop there; next door to the brewery is the fantastic New Inn public house, a small and cosy family-run inn where you can finish off your experience with a delicious pub lunch! You can bet that this is an experience you won't forget in a hurry, but just in case you will receive a gift pack of ales to take home!

Whether you want to enjoy this experience yourself or treat a beer-loving friend to the lunch of a lifetime, nothing about this great brewery tour will disappoint; hearty British pub fare is complemented by traditional ales and set off by the beautiful North Yorkshire scenery.

On arrival, we ordered our lunch and drank our complimentary ale which was both very nice and we ordered a tray of tasters before out tour. The tour was fantastic and had lots of northern humour and an expert knowledge on brewing. We thoroughly enjoyed it would definitely recommend even if you have done a brewery tour before since we have done 4 before and this was definitely the best by far and the ale is lovely too!

I found the presenter to be very knowledeable but felt the overall presentation could be improved by using a DVD on screen to pictorally illustrate the workings of the Brewery in full operation.
